MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine Coast Guard recovered 43 floating bodies, believed to be that of passengers of the capsized MV Princess of the Stars, in the waters off Burias Island in Masbate province, radio dzBB reported Monday.

NEW YORK – A cover model for European Vogue has fallen to her death from her Manhattan apartment building in an apparent suicide.
The New York Post and Newsday say 20-year-old Ruslana Korshunova died Saturday afternoon in the Financial District. The newspapers cited unnamed officials and police.
